"'Dead Man's Boots' is kind of about me and my Dad. Not entirely, but my Dad wanted me to be a man like him and perhaps have a job that he understood. I think his aspirations for me were to be a working man but maybe a draughtsman or something he could relate to. My aspirations were much more vague and ridiculous - I wanted to make a living as a musician."
